Chris Rey stands for electronic soul – powerful and “warm” grooves, harmonies and sounds of house music. He started spinning in the late 80s, characterized and enthused by the idea of disco: an endless soul-train taking the dancefloor crowd to brighter places. In the very early 90s he started a professional DJ-career. At that time, he met Ali Schwarz (Tiefschwarz), who was about to start a new house music club, the red dog (Stuttgart). He invited him to become a member of the red dog-team. The red dog not just became a stage for great DJs and producers, like Tony Humphries, Masters at Work, Mike Dunn, to name but a few, but as well a steppingstone for an international DJ-career of Chris Rey with gigs in the Netherlands, England, Italy, Swiss and the USA. In the late 90s he stopped his DJ-dedication. The deep relationship with house music never stopped. For some time past friends and former business partners are asking for a return „in the house“.
