Charon is a very talented DJ, with over 10 years of experience in the harder styles of electronic dance music. As a resident DJ for the harder styles at Club Rodenburg he gained a lot of experience under the name Ruff J. His main ingredient used to be nowadays Hardstyle and Hardcore, but at the moment he is focusing more and more on Hardstyle classics, especially the more unknown classics, b-sides and early Hardstyle releases.

He played at events like Fatality - The Raw Outdoor Festival, 'Fusion Of Dance Festival' Zwolle, several sold out hardstyle events at Club Rodenburg, 'Re:Set' at North Sea Venue, 'Hard Nature' at the Effenaar, and as highlight so far : 'Pleasuredome NYE' in England.
