DJ Casira, real name Chupi Ramphela, has more than 20 years of experience. He started deejaying during his student days. He always found himself volunteering to deejay for his friends (from audio cassettes and LP's). In 1995 he teamed up with DJ The Jacky (Bloemfontein), South Africa, doing private parties, weddings and corporate functions. Later on, he completed the Soulcandi Institute of Music deejay course, SCIM DJ101 in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is where he learned, among other things, the Secrets of Beatmatching, Defining and Understanding Various Genres of Music, Understanding the Structure of Music, DJ Ethics, Training the Ear, Crowd Reading, and so on. This took his deejaying to another level.
Equipped with all this knowledge, he ventured into the world of DJ professionalism, receiving gigs from some of the top clubs, restaurants, lounges and bars in Gauteng.
