DJ and radio producer John Valavanis aka Camabuca was born and raised in Athens, Greece.
He grow up listening to Rock, Pop, Hip Hop (on the radio) and at home to his mother's Classical and Greek records.
At the age of 12 he started mixing from tape to tape with his boombox.
A few years later he bought his first turntables and started mixing for school parties, house parties and local bars and clubs.
Since the late 80s he has played music as resident and guest DJ in most bars, clubs, mobile parties, events and radio stations of Athens and Greece and later all around the globe..
Vinyl collector from a young age with great taste in music and sounds.

Funk, Jazz, Electronic music (Ambient, Techno, Electro etc.),World music, Trip Hop, Breaks, Dub/Reggae.
Lover of spoken word, experimental stuff and library pieces.
