BeetRoots is the vibrant DJ project of Misha Tsaran, a Ukrainian-born artist whose musical
journey began at seven with guitar lessons. Inspired by Queen, The Beatles, and Russian rock, Misha later embraced hip-hop, reggae, and EDM, igniting his passion for DJing.
After moving to NYC in 2011, he managed Meridian23, a global live music venue, and started spinning house music. In 2017, he relocated to Northern California, became a yoga teacher, and began producing local dance and healing events. His open-genre DJ style gained a strong following, leading to the launch of his mobile DJ business. In 2024, Misha’s monthly KZYX radio show earned him the Programmer of the Year Award.
Known for blending Afro/Latin/Tech-House, Indie Dance, Funk, and Disco, BeetRoots lights up clubs, festivals like Northern Nights, and venues across Northern California. With boundless energy and eclectic beats, Misha continues to inspire joy and connection through music.
