Bawn Trubble spent most of his early musical life on the underground scene playing mostly parties and "illegal" raves, and after discovering he revelled in the buzz off the crowd, he obtained his first residency when he was 18, and played every week for 12 months. After that, Bawn played many gigs in and around Preston, including another short residency at Fives Bar in Preston City Centre. Upon realising the dance music scene was lacking in Preston at the time, he began to hire small venues for his own elitist parties based around techno and drum and bass.
Bawn visited Tenerife and got a DJ-ing job at sound of miniztry in Playa de las Americas, which he did for 2 years. After that, he headed out to Blanes near Girona in Spain, where he got to play at the world famous Arena club alongside europes finest
