Bass–ul–Ulema is a collective based in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, consisting of two dub fanatics - Monodread (producer/drummer), Bademah/vital echo (producer), each of them anchored in different musical styles and projects before being assimilated to the realm of the mighty DUB. Ulema's roots can be found in Monodread's „Savuvi Sound System“ pseudo from 2004. and „Dub Zone“ radioshow which both served as a platform for promoting various worldwide dubs to the wider public. The same dub activist formula was the guideline in formation of Bass-ul-Ulema Sound in 2010., when three bass brothers eventualy joined forces. Today Ulema operates as a music production trio, soundsystem and dub organizing collective. Live selections, consisting of their own production as well as music of various outernational artists, vary from early Roots-Reggae-Dub to the contemporary Electro-Psy-Stepper-Dub-Step styles.
