BANGOURA BAND is a band of nine musicians that came first together in beginning of 2013. The band plays afro beat, afro jazz, funk and mandingue music. The leader of the band is Cheick Bangoura and he is born and raised in Guinea. It had been his dream to form a band in Iceland that plays music from his native land and that dream has come true. The Bangoura Band has been performing since April 2013. The musicians always give a great performance and the audience can´t stop them self to let loose and dance with the music and the band are going to release the first album this year 2015.
