BRIZE MIXTAPE SERIES
This mixtape series is inspired by rave culture, science fiction, graphic novels, films, and life experiences. The mixes travel through many different music genres, but they are connected by a common style and technique. Each tape is developed and refined over time to find the best track selections and transitions, and often a story develops through that process.

There are 3 main styles within the series:
old school beats ~ highlighting older beats from a certain era
retro future funk ~ funky combinations of new and old tunes
forward grooves ~ exploring the forward edges of modern styles

BIOGRAPHY
BRIZE is a Canadian DJ that has been mixing since 1999. His style has evolved from his roots in the rave scene to include many styles of music. He specialize in mashing up old and new tracks, and uses long layered mixes to create sets that transcend genres.
