Melbourne, Australia
I grew up in a small country town in Australia in the era of when electronic music was outlawed. So with this mind set I grew up on AC/DC, AC/DC and more AC/DC, and a few other bands thrown in for a bit of diversity. But my mind was blown the day a mate of mine, Jamis Begby, played me Gatecrasher Black, which had been sent over from London. I went on to move from the country town to the city of Melbourne, where the journey of electronic music really started to grow. I tried Dj'ing on a set of Citronic k171 dual cd players and record the progress on cassette, nothing special. Time went by and Jamis bought a set of SL1200's and DJM 300, me being a good friend hustled in on the set up and the vinyl addiction took hold.
Since then we ran some of our own gigs playing Funky House, Trance & UK Hard House. I then ventured on to Full On Psy Trance. I hung the headphones up 12 years ago, but am now dusting off gear for one more round. Who the heck knows where this will go!
