Axel Groove found his inspiration after living 7 years in the concrete jungle wilderness of Australia. Returning
home to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he found that the underground music scene reignited his long lost passion
for music, and the need to educate the masses.
He began to play regularly around the city, and also started curating his own nights, where he set the tone
for the new generation; lending together the sounds of Tech - House with House and a dash of Disco.
In the last 10 years, Axel’s touring has lead him to play in Singapore, Thailand, Bali, Philippines, China and
Hong Kong on a regular basis. On top of that he
has also shared the decks with some of the world’s biggest names like Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Hot Since
82, Black Coffee, Jackmaster and more.
Besides being a DJ, he was also a club owner and festival promoter. From 2016 till 2020 he was
the Music Director and Head Resident of Kyo KL, Malaysia. He was also responsible for Circoloco's
first ever show in KL
