Toronto, Canada
Mine was a typical childhood, summers in Saskatoon filled with music and laughter. All younger children Fiddling with Uncle Lester’s blue grass band. My mother often joined in on the old organ, dancing with cousin Jenny a wild eyed gypsy who had escaped from the Cirque du Soleil.
My father was a mild mannered accountant who worked for Toronto’s largest Mayor Ford. (although we would later realize he had been running an illegal Cockfighting club in south Mimico, gambling on amateur Polo, racing snails and bare chested Snowball fights).
At the age of 16 I won Tic-Tac-Toe and Tag. After defeating Frisbee at 27 I announced my Retirement. Although “publicly” resigned from professional sports, here in Manatoullin I am currently training for this year’s centennial “Hide n Seek” marathon in Newark, New Jersey.
