Got into DJing accidentally, the process took around 8 or 9 years.
Started around age 14 when I went round to a mate's house. In school we always talked about music instead of listening to teachers, so one day we snuck off school to play around with beats and decks. His older bro produced and DJed at various clubs in Manchester.
Anyway, got my first DJ lesson trying to mix some "Naughty By Nature" with "The Pharcyde". (Have to say, "Runnin'" by the Pharcyde is one of my favourite tracks ever).
Right...this looks like it could never end - I'd write forever - so I'll save it for my book.
Suffice to say I've played at Studio Valbonne, Embassy, 20, British Luxury Club, JuJu, Divo, M1NT, Anexo, Verve and So:uk (amongst others) in London, and the best bars and clubs in York...; love what I do.
