I began DJing in 1993 while at university, performing at the Aberystwyth Student Union as DJ Damage. I started writing for Wax magazine around 1995–96, which helped my career take off. In 2000, I was selected for the UK Tent at Mysteryland, a European dance festival in Arnhem, based on my DJing. Despite rocking that event for 3 hours, I wasn’t producing music at the time and found I was still having to hustle hard to get on all-star lineups. In 2003, I retired from DJing to concentrate on music production. Diagnosed with Asperger syndrome in 2018, I linked it to a childhood vaccine injury and adopted "Asperger" as my artist name to raise awareness about vaccine injuries and the challenges faced by autistic individuals. Since 2020, I’ve been creating freedom-inspired dance music and DJing at rallies, protests, and festivals in Scotland, often playing 4- to 6-hour sets that take audiences on immersive musical journeys.
