I started mixing privately around 2006 or 2007. Around that same time, I put together my first original track using GarageBand. My taste in music was already very open to many electronic styles back then. One thing I deliberately chose to do was to have a mix build up gradually — to tell a story. It wasn't until later, with VirtualDJ, that I started mixing with a laptop. To this day, however, it has remained more of a private hobby, because I've been more fascinated by creating sounds and soundscapes (like Biosphere & Autechre). All my creative energy goes into production.

ANT3OOO is my alter ego for ANTarcticae, specifically for anything above 120 BPM. With a few minor exceptions, of course, since a good story doesn't start right in the middle of the climax ;)
