5kull-5trobe hails from Blackpool, North West England and originally worked as an industrial/experimental artist named XRSATE from September 2007, until changing tact and producing music since joining Myspace in February 2008.

As well as producing his own original tracks (which have yet to see the light of day) , he has also done a number of unofficial remixes for artists such as Kings Of Leon, Baroness, Funkadelic, House Of Dolls, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Kasabian & Elbow.

Highest profile work has been for the still-in-production student art film "Plague Peripheral", producing an Original Soundtrack inspired by the likes of John Carpenter, Jerry Goldsmith, Vangelis, Brian Eno & Thomas Bangalter. It was made using especially prepared recycled sonics...and 5kull-5trobe's true pride & joy.
