4LT4RS started in the mid-2ks as a nomadic dance party, and occasional host of bands— peppered at venues, apartments, basements and various makeshift speakeasies throughout greater Brooklyn.
Since then 4LT4RS has dipped its toe in journalism, artist promotion, DJing, video production, and even as a boutique cassette label.
The common denominator has always been a focus on post-punk’s deep, historic culture, and its fertile and potent present and future, including the many subgenres under its broad, black umbrella, including darkwave, gothic rock, cold wave, death rock, synth pop, new wave and industrial.
