I worked at Tower Records from 1996 to 2000; they opened a ‘techno’ section shortly after I started there. My co-workers laughed when I asked what the hell ‘techno’ was; I already owned multiple albums by The Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Lords of Acid, Crystal Method and Underworld.

In 1999, I began attending BUZZ regularly and in 2000, I began interviewing DJs (Paul van Dyk, Dave Seaman, Timo Maas, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Skribble, Sandra Collins, Hybrid, Keoki, DJ Rap, Seb Fontaine, Scott Henry and more) for a documentary that fell apart in the aftermath of 9/11 ... the material was never published and I have all of it so I am sure as hell going to do something with it

I also learned a lot of techniques from my heroes and using a $2.99 dj app, recently began making my own mixes.
