Zivko Grozdanic Gera

Živko Grozdanić Gera (b. 1957, Vršac, Serbia) lives and works in Novi Sad and Vršac, Serbia. He is one of the most relevant and most active representatives of Serbian contemporary art scene. He has graduated sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 1983. He is the founder of the Yugoslav Youth Biennial (1994), as well as the Center for Contemporary Culture ‘Concordia’, where he has hosted a large number of exhibitions by both local and international artists. He took part in a number of solo and group exhibitions in Serbia and international. He was the commissioner of the Serbian Pavillion at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011 which was awarded with the UniCredit Prize.
