I fell in love with electronic music late one summer night in '96 when I saw the music video for "The Box" by Orbital. Since then I've scoured record stores, friends' collections and the internet constantly in search of the coolest new sounds, but I also love looking back to the early days of techno, house and drum & bass to discover so much of the amazing, often overlooked or forgotten underground sounds that came out of places like Detroit, Chicago, and London a long time ago. I love electronic music so much that I've put a lot of energy into sharing it with others at events I've organized and promoted including house parties, loft parties, bonfire parties, a party at a VFW hall, basement parties and one of my proudest achievements which was forming YPC Productions with my Ypsilanti friends and throwing some massive parties in Detroit in 2000 and 2001. Today I'm still searching and listening, looking to the future and the past, and I always will be.
