Ylem (pron. eye-lem) is a musician who creates as part of the music/art collective The Community, which has contributed to underground culture in Perth by providing a platform for artists. Predominantly a dubstep producer, Ylem’s music pushes the envelope and reflects his taste for the emerging future beat sub-genres.

As a producer, dj, promoter and broadcaster on RTR FM 92.1, Ylem has firmly established himself as a respected contributor to the Perth music circuit. He has released music on several record labels across the globe in the form of EP’s, LP’s and compilations. In continuation with his DIY attitude, Ylem founded his own independent imprint in late 2010, WattHz Records.
