If you've ever watched Parks and Recreation, do you remember that episode when Ben gets pretty depressed and starts making stop-motion videos during his free time?

Pretty much, that's what I did, but instead of pouring time over claymation and video editing, I got into writing rap lyrics and trying to expand my repertoire in the genre of rap and hip-hop. Something about the way rap can be expressed with so much emotion and passion has always drawn me to it. It's just so friggin' deep and dense but awesome in the way that maybe "Heart of Darkness" is supposed to be...except the density found in rap can actually be relatable in a simpler way.

Either way, since SoundCloud has turned into a copyright cop and I use a lot of amateur/semi-pro recordings with legal~semi-legal methods, MixCloud will hopefully be an album of sorts to collect up my music. I hope this can be a passion that I can develop, and a way for me to pour out the tornado of thoughts stuck in my brain.
