Born in Malindi grew up and schooled in Karatina though finished my high school in Kajiado county. Dj Yang Joe is a talented Deejay. His Career started when he was 20 back in 2013 when he joined System Unit deejay academy, Trained by Dj Ruff, Rueben and Dj Mo. Where late in 2013 after his studies as a deejay he was asked to join and sign under system unit where he begun as a deejay academy tutor. Where he fell in love with being a deejay tutor and ended up being the head tutor of all system unit deejay academies around Kenya.

Music has been my journey. I started my career as a dj by assisting Dj Mo aka Sammy Muraya, which is why i have a mind to understand my audience and their likes. He’s been working with System Unit for the past five years where in mid 2017 he decided to take a hard decision of persuing his career on his own.
