ZamZaman is a monthly radio show broadcast on the airways of Vienna’s Radio Orange 94.0 FM, dedicated to showcasing beautiful, long forgotten and yet to be discovered music from around the globe. Every month ZamZaman paints a new musical canvas with a colorful array of timeless tunes from a different corner of the world. In an attempt to break away from the constricting and Eurocentric category of “world music”, the show focuses on highlighting musical diversity in the context of globalization where the distances between genres and places are fluid.
