Why SwingKing
SwingKing is an old LAN gaming name I used back in my younger days, so when I started producing and DJ’ing, I decided that’s the name!
The 1st time I heard Drum&Bass, was when the bomfunk MC’s Freestyler song released. Later when GTA3 came out, the radio station MSX FM got me hooked. One day I heard this dark eary, yet wonderful music at a LAN Party and copied 20GB of it immediately to my hard drive. Little did I know that a hidden talent would emerge.
Like any teenager, I got obsessed with the music. One day my brother Stefan, brought home FLStudio and experimented with it. So then I experimented with it and didn’t sleep for days. One thing led to another and I created my own DnB. That was back in 2006. As the years passed I only grew better and more polished.
My influences are DJ Hype, Andy C, Audio, Noisia, Ronny Size, Dom & Roland etc. I grew up with the pioneers.
