Wolfman Max brings a lifetime of DJ experience and a deep passion for college and community radio with time at KTAL-LP in Las Cruces, NM (2024-2026), and roots at WRFG (Atlanta, GA) and KSYM (San Antonio, TX),. His show, "The Wide World of Funk," showcases an eclectic blend of breakbeat-based and sampled music in a 90’s style mix show format, alongside a diverse spectrum of sounds from the funk diaspora with specialty deviation shows during a supermoon. Original broadcasts at KTAL-LP aired Saturdays from 5-7pm with a rebroadcast Wednesdays from 8-10pm. Despite being a laryngectomee, Max's dedication to sharing unique and sometimes forgotten sounds remains unwavering.
