Wolfgang Alexander, or just plain Chubz as his friends know him, was born in late 1995. He first became interested in the craft of DJing when his father took him to the La Mesa Guitar Center DJ competition in 2006. A year later he got his first set of turntables. He received lessons from his two mentors Trackstar the DJ, from St. Louis (Dj for Killer Mike) and Antonio Aguilera of San Diego Mixmasters.
He got his first Dj break at the Santee Teen Center doing their monthly dances. Over the years he has worked house parties, school events, and corporate events. In 2010 he worked with 16-year-old drummer Cristien Fernandez from Ontario California. They created live sets which they performed at the Santee Salutes Independence Day celebration and at the world famous Whisky a Go-Go in West Hollywood. Chubz also worked with Def Jam rapper Lil Niqo, and Dogg Town Entertainment’s Pappa Heat. He appeared as the Dj in a music video for Interscope Records UK pop star Malia.
