Station W~MPB is delighted to host this new series of internet radio shows with blues stalwart Richard who will ensure the programs encompass a wide range of original recordings featuring many legendary pre-war blues and country blues artists. And, if any extra icing on the cake were ever needed there are not many shows that can boast of taking the trouble to play the occasional genuine 78 rpm record when there are a plethora of vinyl, CDs and remastered downloads available!
The downside to this wonderful archive of music is that obviously many of the recordings will fall short of today’s high audio standards, that though can be countered by saying where the audio quality may be somewhat inconsistent the musical quality is not!
