Trapezoid is a piece I wrote in the winter of 2013 for my final recital at Humber College's Jazz Degree Program. It is all original and features heavy usage of parallel harmony (Lydian and Dorian sounds), as well as complex melodic passages and 12/8 & 15/8 Afro-Cuban grooves.
