DICK RIDDICK, CONGA PLAYER, has performed with Nina Simone (Village Gate, NY), Ike & Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin (Cornell), Ray Charles (Renaissance, Harlem,NY), The Ted Mack Amateur Hour (1960), Del Royals (Elmira, NY) , Alvin Brooks, Stevie Johnson, and Wheely Barrow (Corning, NY). He has studied music theory at Elmira College and is now teaching music to the serious. He entertained in the Navy while traveling . Well, I am one who never knew where he came from. living with two names, two birthdays. it took ME and the Navy to pull me thru. My 20 years of navy educated and molded me but it was MUSIC that gave me HARMONY and SPRIT connectionality
