My name is William Simu. I was born in 1997 and my origin is from one little village called Boksjön, in the north of Sweden.
My dad showed me early on bands like Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and that sort of stuff. I vaguely remember it but my dad recalls that I grabbed the Cream live album Disraeli Gears when I was around 6-7 years and listened to it just by myself. Around the same time I got my first guitar. In the beginning I got an acoustic guitar but didn’t dig the vibe really, so I got an electric guitar quite soon.
I remember it to this day: my cousin, who lived in a city that actually had a music store (!), payed a visit home. As I was at my grandmother’s place that afternoon my first electric guitar made its way into my hands. It was a Strat copy by Texas.
