Over the past 7 years, Defwill has worked to develop his skill-set, and has become a regular feature on QLD’s Electronic Music Scene. Armed with a deep understanding of vibrations, waveforms, and track structure – which in essence, virtualizes his ears – Defwill, is a journey-taker. His stylistic approach, draws influence from minimal, emotive, melodic, tribal, and driving grooves, and his mixes are executed with an astonishing kind of precision.
Fast-forward to 2016, and Defwill’s gigography reflects state - wide bookings at the likes of Capulet Bar, Woolly Mammoth, XY2, Faraway Festival, Dark Forest Festival, and the Gold Coast’s annual ‘White Paradise NYE’ event – where he recently played a closing set for the Paradise Stage. Having supported Local, Interstate and International Artists, such as Bass Kleph (SYD), Steve Ward (MEL), Jamie Stevens (MEL), Dylan Griffith (MEL), Cìrukè, (BNE) Makumba/Darkshire (GR), and Hefty (UK), Defwill’s sights are now set on further growing his newly
