Andell “Whyteboi the DJ” Piggott was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and developed a love of music at an early age. Whyteboi was just 6 years old when he started imitating DJ Starchild, whom he saw every weekend playing at his aunts restaurant. From that point forward every opportunity he got to use a tape deck or play on a record player he used to his advantage. At the tender age of 8, Andell and his friends would throw parties for their friends in Tobago, by rigging old speakers and music players. Since 1996, Whyteboi the DJ has worked on his passion for music, perfecting his art. Starting from playing strictly Dancehall music, to proving his musical versatility, by now playing Soca, Calypso, Reggae, Dancehall, Zouk, Reggaeton, African, Top 40s, Kompa, and more. He continues to represent with his solo projects, collaborations, mixtapes and live Caribbean events. His love of music shines through in everything he does.
