Tallinn, Estonia
Whirl and Mayer both born in Tallinn – the capital of Estonia.
Two young music enthusiasts met first in year 2000 by finding their common interest through the passion of music production , specially drum'n'bass at that time.
Few years later, after getting more and more into the world of making beats and exploring different styles , they came out from the studio as DJs/producers team "Hard Driverz" (Also, the same time they produced the first version of megahit "Streets At Night"). Under that alias they produced a lot of trance tunes and went out in the clubs as DJ-team.
Lots of tracks made in those days were shared mostly amongst their friends and had a warm feedback.
About a year after that , changing their name to Whirl & Mayer, they released their first single "Streets At Night" in 2004. Two weeks after releasing the single, Estonian biggest club music events organizing team Club Unlimited, decided to announce "Streets At Night" the official anthem of Freedom Parade 2004
