I grew up in the church and have been singing my whole life. I am a third generation performing artist. My father grew up in the gospel group The Johnson Family Singers. I am the lead singer/songwriter for the Charlotte, North Carolina based band Hardcore Lounge.

I like to cook. My passion for food and how to prepare food dates back to my childhood. I am not a professional chef, but I am friends with many. I get the same thrill from feeding someone a good meal as do entertaining people on stage. I like to write about food, and I hope to combine my work and my passion into a project in the future.
