DJing since 1995, Wensel Coberg (formerly known as Wensel C71) played clubs, events and radio sessions across The Netherlands before relocating to Barcelona. After taking a break from DJing, he recently rediscovered the passion that first sparked his love for electronic music. His journey began long before social media and streaming platforms became the norm, rooted in an era where digging for records and letting the music speak for itself were at the heart of the culture.
His sound moves through underground house, deep house, tech house, progressive house and techno, with an emphasis on musical journeys rather than genres. Drawing inspiration from both classic and contemporary sounds, Wensel combines vinyl and digital formats to create sets that are equally at home warming up a room, driving peak-time energy or taking things deeper into the after-hours. For him, atmosphere always comes first.
