Hello. Welcome to Life with a Literary Slant. We are Wendy Watkins and Carole Ellis. Our monthly show airs on Soundart Radio which is based at Dartington Hall, next to the River Dart in beautiful South Devon. The programme is a mixture of interviews with local people, writers and artists; thoughts and remembrances; conversations and meanderings on all topics with a literary slant. We are both local writers who love to play with words and language, enjoy exploring their richness and history and discovering the impact they have on everyday life. We care deeply about the power of language as a force for good.
