Played more than 400 shows all over Ireland, the UK, the U.S, Canada, India, Asia and continental Europe alongside countless top players from the electronic scene. Runs Rua Sound and Foxy Jangle alongside Rob DC and also the SubVersion SoundSystem alongside Crux.

Welfare was also part of the production duo SubVersus, along with fellow bass music producer Shatterfreak - He was a long term member of Ireland's long running Dubstep and Bass music crew and record label, DubCulture. Welfare was also the man behind the Jungle Boogie! collective a nationwide old school Jungle crew , as well as the promoter at Get Boogie! Galway.
