Benito Blanco has been dedicated to dance music for more than a decade now, with an obsession for electronic sounds stretching back to the age of 15 when he first heard breakbeats/jungle. The course of his life was inevitable once he got bitten by the Electronic Music bug. From then on his desire to create, play, share and promote Electronic Music has always been his focal energy.

Together with Marc Rabbit, who he got to know through some friends and who was injected by Benito Blanco with the love for Eletronic Music, they always have been focused on forward-thinking music, whatever the genre. They thought about a name for them two and the result was:
We Are U, meaning that both are on the same level as their crowd. Just some friendly, open-minded freaks who love what htey do with all their heart and energy! Their open-minded approach to music gave them the foundations needed to be versatile DJs.
