Getting the message out about water stewardship is a challenging one -- given that most people perceive we have an endless supply of water in Canada ...so after three decades as a resource stewardship agrologist and planner working in Boreal and Arctic regions, I thought how about using a more creative format. Combining my love of music with a love of water, I created Take Me To The Water as a podcast focusing on different topical themes related to the 'water balance' in our world within insights and references for people to learn more on key issues of local and wider interest. I am hoping through this approach, we can be inspired to feeling the flow of water within and beyond our community watersheds. Like air, water connects us all.. it is a life-support system that replenish but is readily threatened. Let's do what we can to offer more protection and conservation of this precious and sustaining element of Creation! Ohhhh!....gotta love that H2Ohhhh!
