DJ Wasp is a long-standing figure in the Belgian drum & bass and jungle scene.
Active since the mid-90s, he first gained recognition with Gamorah Sound — one of the key crews that helped shape Belgium’s early D&B landscape. Along the way, he also played a role in the growth of dubstep and darker bass sounds through various underground events and collaborations.
His sets are firmly rooted in drum & bass and jungle, often infused with a raw, vinyl-driven energy. Occasionally, he explores other territories through genre-crossing sets that blend house, breakbeat, garage, techno, ambient and experimental bass.
Wasp’s music has appeared on respected labels such as Love For Low Frequencies, Membrain and Hornets Nest, continuing a career defined by depth, evolution and a strong connection to bass-rooted music.
