Now retired from the US Army after a 23-year career chiefly as a guitar player in various US Army bands, I am a musician by both profession and temperament. I am an independent music professional with multiple musical irons in the fire at any given moment and my roles vary from project by project and from song to song. I am an often-collaborative composer/author and publisher (ASCAP) and I also dabble in production and engineering as well as, obviously, performance. I am currently married to a wonderfully engaging, highly intelligent, and undeniably beautiful woman in Renée. She and I currently make our home in Yorktown, Virginia. I have three very bright and talented children from a previous marriage, grown now and moved away, and two awesome grandsons thus far.

My primary instrument is the guitar … although I have played bass on numerous occasions and sometimes dabble with keys and percussion … but have focused on composition and arranging for the past several years.
