We are dedicated to the people who attended the Blackburn and Revenge warehouse parties of 89 to 91 Partying throughout the North West, we were the pioneers of an underground movement that revolutionised the dance music scene. People came by the thousands in convoys which stretched for miles, hitting the northern towns in a wave of anticipation for the place that would provide them with another overwhelming night of musical ecstasy. The feeling of love, peace and harmony created an atmosphere that we longed for at a time when all else seemed of no significance and only the party mattered. The whole scene came to an abrupt end when government legislation introduced was brought into force to counter the parties. Destroyed by bureaucrats who did not understand that our freedom to party was a right not a crime and to the dismay of the party people, the acid house party movement became a casualty of misunderstanding and fear.
