What is Wanita Music?
* Wanita is 'woman' in Indonesian & our sole purpose is to promote womxn who collect and spin vinyl.
* Wanita started in early 2018 and is based in the UK.
* This page is dedicated to mixes put together by female DJs from around the world to promote their favourite female artists & our radio show: Wanita Music Show
*The Wanita Music show is a monthly show at Radio X Frankfurt where @DJ_JawaJones invites ladies in the music biz to share their stories working in the industry & their favourite records.
* We also run a club night called WANITA at Walthamstow Trades Hall, London where Jawa Jones with guest DJs spins female-fronted music from the 50s to the 90s across genres on vinyl.
