So, a walking rhythm is a jazz term for an energetic four bar musical chunk: So, Walking Rhythms is about (but not restricted to) the genres of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Disco: and any combinations of them! Walking Rhythms loves them all, and is devoted to rediscovering them and reworking them for anytime listening but also dancefloors now: to demonstrate how these sounds with and without updating can hold their own with modern EDM. They may be old tracks but they're timeless. Meanwhile, Disco Defectors is the more boisterous cousin of Walking Rhythms, and has to be kept away from sugar and E-numbers.

Would be interested right now in contact with like-minded (or like-eared, really) funksters to collaborate. either for DJ'ing, making own tracks or reworking others.
