I started DJing in 1981 at 13 years old - in my bedroom for about a month until my mother posted "DJ Vinnie Campisi available for any Occasion" in the church bulletin. That sunday i got 2 gigs $150 and I've been booked just about every week since then until March 13, 2020 when Covid shut it all down. When I hit 16 Years old i decided to stop doing parties and focus on clubs only. I started at the Local Roller Skating Rink in 1984, got noticed by a club owner who had is daughters skate party there, and from that club I got more club work. In 1992 i started in NYC at Tunnel, Limelight and Roxy Main rooms only Im still very influenced musically by those clubs. Now i play all over NYC doing Mix Genre but when its time to slam, The Animal Comes Out To Play!
