At the age of 14, I grew an interest in becoming a DeeJay through a friend who was a Deejay at the time. I practiced my first mix on his technic 1200’s. To my surprise, I was a natural cause my first blend was on point. Before I even thought about purchasing any equipment. I remember as a young 8 year old kid that I always had an ear for music. It all started when I consistently listened to the old disco from the late 70’s on the old 92KTU. As the 80’s approached, I remember popping in my cassette in my tape deck to record the Master mixes by Shep Pettibone. As the mid 80’s approached and being a young teenager growing up in a dominantly Italian, Irish neighborhood where freestyle was #1. I have found myself being the one who had discovered soulful house music and never looked back. It all started one Friday night when I was channel surfing the dial on the radio listening to the master mix dance parties on 98.7 with Tony Humphries, & 107.5 with Timmy Regisford, & Merlin Bobb
