Taking inspiration from a vast multitude of music and art; from early 1900s New Orleans to late 1900s Detroit, Francis Bacon, jazz, ska, noise, Escher, industrial, IDM, techno, house, ambient, rave, glitch, jungle and hip-hop, Videohead makes it all count. From experimental, melodic, dub, hypnotic, syncopated, ambient to the sometimes just damn strange. Film is also a huge influence on everything that Videohead produces, from Fritz Lang to David Cronenberg, Stanley Kubrick to Gaspar Noe.
Using a selection of weird and wonderful hardware machines and a variety of different software, Videohead produces a sonic array of different styles and approaches. Always with the ethos and aesthetic that the next production (whatever medium it may be) has to be completely different from the last. Combining sound recordings, synthesis and extreme manipulation, Videohead is difficult to fit in to any one genre.
