Been DJing for about 24 years now, since the middle of high school. I've done my share of parties, weddings, family events, corporate events, clubs...you name it. I am based in Ventura/LA Counties, but have gone all around Southern California, as well as some work in Central California and the Bay Area.
Currently, I DJ mostly as a hobby (back to bedroom style), but still will go out and do the occasional gig or show.
I paid my dues (well my back did anyways) lugging crates and crates of wax around...but now I use Serato software. My setups include:
1200s w Vestax Mixer and Serato Scratch Live
Pioneer CDJs w Denon Mixer and Serato Scratch Live
Denon Controller using Serato DJ
