Initial D originally started out as a manga and became quite popular. It was then adapted to different media like anime, video/arcade games, OVAs, etc…

Anyway, for those are not familiar with the Initial D story, the plot focuses on the illegal world of street racing in Japan which is mostly done on mountain passes. The race consists of both uphill and downhill races from various local and visiting teams.
